The Yulupa Zinfandel comes from select old-vine vineyards located in the historic Lodi appellation.  The grapes were picked at the peak of ripeness to increase the intense fruity aroma of the wine.  After fermentation and aging in oak barrels, a small amount of Petite Sirah was blended in to add body and complexity to the character of the wine.

Fruity aromas of blackberries and figs are followed by complex toffee, mocha and spicy notes, giving this wine a supple mouthfeel and a smooth, lingering finish.
