The Yulupa Zinfandel comes from select vineyards that were picked at the peak of ripeness to increase the intense fruitiness of the wine. After fermentation and aging in oak barrels, a small amount of Barbera was blended in to add body and a bit of acidity to balance the character of the wine.

Flavorful aromas of ripe raspberries and cherry are followed by more complex notes of spicy ginger and vanilla. This tasty wine has an excellent mouthfeel and well-structured tannins.
