Located on Sonoma Mountain, the influence of this vineyard’s red volcanic soil combines with the fruity characteristics of the grapes to produce an excellent, very distinctive Zinfandel. The flavors from these vineyards exude fruit aromas of blueberry and blackberry combined with spicy notes of cumin and pepper. Delicate well-structured tannins and a hint of vanilla from oak aging give way to a lingering finish.
