1975 Artist Series Cabernet Sauvignon

The Art
The 1975 vintage marks the first Artist Series produced by Kenwood Vineyards and features "Hillside," a specially commissioned work of art from Californian artist David Lance Goines. Noted poster artist from Berkley, Giones’ artwork has been exhibited in more than one hundred one-man and group shows, both national and international. Other examples of his work are included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Louvre, Paris.

The Wine
This wine is made exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. It exhibits a characteristic Cabernet nose, and a ripe berry flavor permeates the taste. The wine was aged in small oak barrels and will continue to improve with bottle age.
